Child Safety Standards

Last updated: September 2, 2026

Oriah is operated by Moradi Labs Inc., a federal Canadian corporation based in Windsor, Ontario. These are our published standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

1. Zero Tolerance

Child sexual abuse and exploitation is absolutely prohibited on Oriah. This is not a matter of degree or context. Specifically, we prohibit:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form, including images, video, audio, text, and links to such material.
  • Sexualization of minors, including in artwork, animation, computer-generated imagery, or written description.
  • Grooming, solicitation, or any attempt to develop a relationship with a minor for sexual purposes.
  • Sextortion, or threatening to expose intimate imagery of a minor.
  • Trafficking, advertising, or facilitating the exploitation of a minor.
  • Off-platform CSAE conduct, where we become aware of it.

Violation results in immediate account termination, preservation of evidence, and reporting to the appropriate authorities. There is no warning and no appeal for confirmed CSAM.

2. Age Requirement

Oriah is intended for people age 13 and older. The app carries an age rating on both the App Store and Google Play, and both stores enforce a minimum account age. We do not direct the service at children under 13 and do not knowingly collect their personal information. If we learn that a user is under 13, we delete the account and its data.

3. Reporting Inside the App

Any member can report a post, comment, message, prayer, profile, or gathering from the surface where it appears. Reports include a reason and optional free-text details, and are reviewed by our moderation team.

Reports concerning a minor's safety, sexual content involving a minor, or grooming behaviour are treated as the highest priority. Every report reaches a human reviewer.

4. Detection

Every image uploaded to Oriah is scanned automatically by Google Cloud Vision SafeSearch before it becomes visible to anyone else. Content flagged as adult or violent is quarantined, which preserves the evidence required for a lawful report while removing the material from circulation. Hash-matching against known-CSAM databases is not yet enabled; when it is, this page will say so.

Text content is screened automatically for indicators of self-harm risk. We do not currently run a classifier for grooming or solicitation; those rely on user reports and human review. Automated detection is a supplement to human review, never a replacement.

5. Reporting to Authorities

Moradi Labs Inc. is registered as an Electronic Service Provider with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) in the United States and with the Canadian Centre for Child Protection (C3P).

Apparent child sexual abuse material is reported to the NCMEC CyberTipline as required by 18 U.S.C. § 2258A, and to Cybertip.ca as required under Canadian law. We preserve associated content and account records for the period required by law, and we cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement.

6. Enforcement

  • Accounts involved in CSAE are terminated, not suspended.
  • We take reasonable measures to prevent terminated users from returning.
  • Where a report involves an imminent risk to a child, we act on it before completing any internal review process.

7. Designated Point of Contact

Our designated point of contact for child safety matters, able to speak to our CSAM prevention practices and compliance, is:

  • Email: [email protected]
  • Moradi Labs Inc., Windsor, Ontario, Canada

If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. In Canada you may also report directly to Cybertip.ca; in the United States, to the NCMEC CyberTipline.

8. Review

These standards are reviewed at least annually and whenever our product surfaces or applicable law change materially.
