Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using Oriah, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

• You must meet the minimum age required by applicable law or app-store rules.
• You must provide reasonably accurate account information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for safeguarding your login credentials.

3. Nature of the Service

Oriah is a faith-focused digital product designed to support prayer, scripture, service, circles, and church connection. It is not a substitute for pastoral care, counseling, legal advice, medical care, or emergency response.

4. Community Rules

You agree not to use Oriah to post, transmit, or organize content that includes:

• Harassment, threats, hate, abuse, or targeted attacks
• Fraud, impersonation, or deceptive conduct
• Illegal activity or unlawful content
• Sexually explicit or exploitative material
• Content intended to compromise the safety or privacy of others

We may remove content, restrict features, suspend church profiles, or terminate accounts that violate these rules or create safety risks.

5. Invitation Codes and Privacy Model

• Circles are intended to be private and invitation-based.
• You may not misuse invite codes, attempt to scrape communities, or try to surface other users to strangers.
• Verified churches may have public profiles and public-facing content, but public member lists are not part of the service model.

6. User Content

• You retain ownership of the content you create and submit.
• You grant Oriah a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, and display that content solely to operate, secure, and improve the service.
• You represent that you have the rights needed to submit the content you share.

7. Church Profiles and Verification

• Churches may be required to complete verification steps before receiving public or administrative features.
• We may approve, deny, suspend, or revoke verification at our discretion.
• Church administrators are responsible for the accuracy of public church information they submit.

8. Subscriptions and Paid Features

• Some premium features may require payment.
• Billing may be handled by Apple App Store, Google Play, RevenueCat, or other authorized billing partners.
• Pricing, trials, renewals, and cancellation terms are shown in-app or in the purchase flow.
• Deleting your Oriah account does not automatically cancel store-managed subscriptions.

9. Account Deletion and Termination

• You may request deletion through the app when available or by using /delete-account.
• We may suspend or terminate access for rule violations, fraud, abuse, legal risk, or service-integrity concerns.
• Certain information may be retained after deletion where required for legal, security, billing, tax, or dispute-resolution reasons.

10. Intellectual Property

The Oriah service, branding, software, and design, excluding user content, are owned by Moradi Labs Inc. or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

11. Service Availability and Changes

We may modify, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

12. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Moradi Labs Inc., Oriah, and their affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business. Aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid, if any, for the service in the 12 months before the claim.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Disputes will be brought in courts located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, except where consumer laws require otherwise.

15. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
